The month of Adar is not merely another cycle in the Kabbalistic calendarâit is an opening, a portal through which boundless joy, divine reversal, and hidden miracles flood into the world. It is the time of vânahafoch huâwhere all that was concealed is revealed, and all that seemed destined for destruction is transformed into salvation.
The sages teach, âMiâshenichnas Adar, marbim bâsimchaââwhen Adar enters, joy increases. But what is this joy? Is it laughter, celebration, and merriment, or does it point to something far deeperâan inner alignment with the Infinite, where the soul rejoices beyond reason, beyond logic, beyond what the eyes can perceive?
In Adar, we are given the opportunity to merge with the hidden light of the Creator, to taste the joy that is not fleeting but eternal, to step into the reality where miracles are not interruptions of nature but its very fabric.
đ The Hidden Face of the Creator
Adar is the only month in which the name of the Creator is not explicitly mentioned in the Megillat Esther đ. At first glance, the story of Purim appears as one of political
maneuvering, human will, and coincidence. But herein lies the secret:
âš Purim teaches that even when the Divine is hidden, it is no less present.
The entire narrative is a veil, a mask, a concealment. The Creator is not absent; He is hidden within nature, guiding events with absolute precision.
đ The Zohar teaches that in the final redemption, all of the holidays will cease except for Purim. Why? Because Purim represents the perfected state of realityâwhere everything is unified, where darkness is transformed into light, where there is no separation between the physical and the spiritual.
While the holidays we celebrate today serve to remind us of past miracles, Purim represents a level where we no longer need remindersâbecause we will live in a state of perpetual redemption. The joy, the unity, and the revelation of Purim are so deep, so infinite, that they will never fadeâeven in the time of Moshiach.
đ Purim is a glimpse of the World to Come.
â Adar: The Cosmic Alignment of Mazal
Adar is ruled by the astrological sign of Dagim (Pisces) đđ, symbolized by two fish swimming in opposite directions. The Talmud states that Israel is above the influence of mazal (constellations), and yet Adar is the month where the mazal of the Jewish people is strongest.

What does this mean?
đ It means that in Adar, we are granted access to the realm beyond cause and effect. It is a time when decrees can be overturned, destinies rewritten, limitations dissolve, and all is possible.
Haman đ, the embodiment of doubt (Amalek), cast lots (Purim) to determine the date of destruction. He believed in randomness, in fate devoid of divine will. But the hidden light of Adar reveals that there is no randomness. Every event, every challenge, every reversal is meticulously woven into the grand orchestration of the Creatorâs plan.
đ The Joy That Breaks All Barriers
The joy of Purim is not ordinary joy. It is ad dâlo yada, a joy that transcends reason. It is the obliteration of doubt, the erasure of separation, the elevation of the soul beyond the constraints of this world.
đ· This is why on Purim, we are commanded to drink until we no longer distinguish between âBlessed is Mordechaiâ and âCursed is Haman.â
This is not about physical intoxication but spiritual transcendenceâa state where opposites collapse into unity, where good and evil, light and darkness, concealment and revelation all merge into one truth:
âš Ein od milvadoâthere is nothing but the Creator. âš
It is only through reaching this state that the forces of doubt and destructionâAmalekâcan be truly erased. Amalek thrives in separation, skepticism, and the illusion of randomness. The antidote is joy. The antidote is absolute certainty in the hidden good within all things.
đ Activating the Energy of Adar and Purim
How do we step into this frequency of boundless joy? How do we channel the cosmic energy of Adar into our lives?
â Increase in Joy with Intention â Joy is not passive; it is a force of transformation. Every moment of laughter, gratitude, and celebration in Adar draws down more divine light. Make joy a practice, not a reaction.
â Give with No Limitation â Matanot LaâEvyonim (gifts to the poor) on Purim is not just an act of charity. It is aligning oneself with the divine flow of abundance. The more you give, the more you expand your own vessel to receive.

â Wear the Mask to Remove the Mask â On Purim, we disguise ourselves, yet this very act removes the masks of reality. What illusions are you still holding onto?
â Drink in the Hidden Light â The wine of Purim is not ordinary wine. It is a vehicle for transcendence, for breaking the illusion of separation. What areas of your life do you need to surrender to the hidden divine flow?
â See Beyond the Surface â Every obstacle, every challenge, every âcoincidenceâ is the Creator whispering through the veil. If you knew with absolute certainty that everything in your life was orchestrated for your highest good, how would you move differently?
đȘ Entering the Gates of Cosmic Joy
Adar is not just a time of increased happiness. It is a time of rewiring reality itself. The gates of transformation are open, but we must choose to walk through them.
âš Will you step into the hidden joy?
âš Will you see the miracles already unfolding in your life?
âš Will you break free from the limitations of cause and effect and enter the space where anything is possible?
đź The choice is yours.
Purim is here. The masks are ready. The hidden light is waiting to be revealed.
And when it is, there will be only joy. đđ·đ
