The Kabbalist in Residency Program by Kabbalah Portal is a pioneering initiative that brings the depth of Kabbalistic tradition into a living cycle of study. It offers participants access to authentic teachings in a way that is immersive, systematic, and rooted in the rhythms of Torah, Zohar, Shabbat, and the lunar architecture of renewal.

Our current Kabbalist in Residency, will guides participants through the Residency Circuits. Each Circuit is a dedicated path of exploration, entering Shabbat, engaging the Torah portions, refining the practice of Zohar, and working with the energy of the new and renewed moon.

This Residency creates an environment where participants are drawn into a pattern of learning and practice that unfolds in real time across three months. Each week builds another layer until the Circuits together form a single system of refinement.

✨ The Four Circuits of the Residency

🕯️ Shabbatot – Circuitry of Shabbat

Shabbat opens the gateway to eternity. In this Circuit, participants experience the inner structure of the seventh day, how to prepare with candlelighting, bake and bless challah as a vessel of sustenance, and use zemirot as energetic keys that unlock joy. Each meal reveals a level of the soul, and Havdalah closes the cycle with precision, readying the week ahead. Shabbat emerges as the crown of the days, where Malchut gathers light from the Six Days and radiates blessing into the world.

📖 Parashiyot – Torah Portions

The Torah portion each week is a blueprint waiting to be decoded. This Circuit draws participants into the Parashah as a living design, uncovering layers through sod and learning the Ta’amim, the musical punctuation that turns reading into energy work. Each session presents Torah as a direct dialogue of creation and shows how the Parashah influences the current of that week. By learning to chant and study with awareness, participants discover Torah as an active force shaping consciousness.

🔤 Zohar Reading Zone – Energetic Refinement

The Zohar is a text of light that invites entry. In this Circuit, participants refine their capacity to sense the energetic resonance of Aramaic letters and vowels, where each mark vibrates with concealed power. The experience develops energetic literacy, where presence itself becomes the vessel. This practice strengthens the participant’s ability to hold light, to transmit currents from the Zohar, and to awaken new dimensions of perception.

🌙 Sacred Moon – Cosmic Influences

Step into the lunar architecture that seeds and seals every month. Rosh Chodesh plants the monthly letter and mazal, setting the new cycle in motion. Kiddush Lavanah renews mid-cycle strength and sanctifies expansion. Each session equips participants with tools to rise above planetary influence, navigate lunar gateways, and master the circuitry of renewal in daily life.
