Wholly Spirit

Wholly Spirit brings Residents into the technical language and spiritual disciplines presented in Sha'ar Ruach HaKodesh through direct engagement with the writings of Arizal via Chaim Vital. This Circuit study examines the conditions of spiritual receptivity, the refinement of inner faculties, and the ordered principles associated with Kavanot, Yichudim, prayer, and the preparation of the individual as a vessel. Residents progress through the text through measured reading, translation, and detailed examination of the terminology, instructions, and distinctions contained within the source. Residents study the relationships between intention, spiritual refinement, and the conditions described for the reception of Ruach HaKodesh, examining the specific arrangements of Divine Names, the purposes assigned to individual practices, and the requirements governing their application. Each session develops the ability to distinguish the functions of different spiritual disciplines and recognize the relationships between inward preparation, the correction of personal attributes, and the refinement of perception. Wholly Spirit establishes a textual framework for understanding Ruach HaKodesh through the precise conditions, ordered instructions, and spiritual mechanics preserved within the writings.
