Resident Events
Gemilut Chasidim | 40 Days of Radical Chesed, a 40-day Circuit of active mercy, structured giving, and vessel-building from 7 Sivan through 16 Tammuz. This year, Day 1 begins on Malchut, placing the entire cycle inside the receptive vessel first. The Ari teaches in שַׁעַר מַאֲמָרֵי רַזַ״ל | פִּרְקֵי אָבוֹת that גְּמִילוּת חֲסָדִים is חֶסֶד extended through the three lines into יְסוֹד in order לְהַעֲמִידָהּ, to establish her. This means Radical Chesed begins with the vessel that must stand, receive, organize, and become capable of holding the flow. מַלְכוּת gives this first day its charge, because the work begins where kindness becomes embodied, grounded, and made available through action.
During these 40 days, Chesed becomes more than inspiration. It becomes a daily discipline of spreading support, strengthening vessels, and extending mercy through form. The Ari describes גְּמִילוּת as growth, as in וַיִּגְמֹל שְׁקֵדִים, where inner potential produces visible fruit. Each act of Radical Chesed during this period becomes part of that growth system, drawing kindness from feeling into function and from private intention into public repair. The cycle begins in מַלְכוּת, then moves through חֶסֶד, גְּבוּרָה, תִּפְאֶרֶת, נֶצַח, הוֹד, and יְסוֹד, allowing every day to carry Chesed through another channel of refinement until the full 40-day vessel is established.
